does acupressure really work to induce labor?

Public Comments

  1. I got an incredible pedicure last year for Mother's Day. The woman was a certified reflexologist as well. That was on a Saturday...by Sunday morning, I was contracting pretty good. I was able to last until Monday. I was admitted that night and had my baby at 1:39 that next morning. So I believe it worked for me.
  2. I think it can work
  3. Idk! But I do know another way! Sex induces labor! Thats how my cousin went into labor! The semen softens the inner lining of your uterus and that induces labor!
  4. It can. There are several points that can be effective at stimulating labor, and should, in fact, be avoided unless you are close to your due date. Points around the foot and ankle, and the medial lower leg, can all, in theory, stimulate labor. Also, GB 21, LI 4, and several other points located elsewhere on the body may promote labor. Any qualified acupuncturist or tuina massage therapist should be able to help you.
