i have had reflexology and the lady says i have a lump the size of a golfball in my small intestine what is it

SHE DID SAY THAT I SHOULDNT WORRY AS REFLEXOLOGY FINDS INBALANCES WITHIN THE BODY AND THAT SHE WOULD WORK ON THIS OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, IM WORRIED, HOW CAN I HAVE A LUMP THAT BIG, HAS ANY1 HAD A SIMILIAR EXPERIENCE?

Public Comments

  1. Could be a hernia, go to the doctor, reflexologists are not to be trusted as medical mds....
  2. whoa whoa whoa, a "reflexoligist" told you this? Do you self a favor and go to a real doctor (M.D.) and tell them what you told us. I'm sure you're just fine.
  3. yup same but not same size and it did turn out fine and I went to see an md
  4. I'm not sure she can tell what you have without an X-Ray or a CT scan. If you have confidence in the reflexology and you want to try that for a few weeks, go ahead. If the so-called lump remains and you are still worried, try the traditional medicine route and get yourself checked out at an imaging center. You will probably need a referral from a primary care doctor.
  5. It sounds to me like she just wants your money. The 'lump' she detected could be nothing more than digested food that's passing through for cripes sake! Don't fall for this.
  6. maybe a tumor? get a colonoscopy ?
  7. If someone said this to me, I would go to my doctor to check it out.
  8. A reflexologist is not medically qualified; a medical doctor wouldn't be able to tell you this without tests, so a lay person certainly can't tell by messing with your feet. There is no scientific basis for reflexology at all. It sounds to me as if she was trying to guarantee herself several more expensive sessions with you.
