what happens to my colon in the early stages of pregnancy?

according to the reflexology charts, where my right hand hurts, it points to an ascending/descending colon. how does this happen? also on my left hand my stomach is affected..according to charts, which is right...fyi...i am 9 weeks.

A reflexology chart, demonstes the areas of the feet that practitioners BELIEVE correspond with organs in the "zones" of the body. There's the key word. "Believes." Common criticisms of reflexology are the lack of central regulation, accreditation and licensing, the lack of medical training provided to reflexologists, and the short duration of training programmes. Diplomas in reflexology can be attained with as little as six months of home study. Point being? It's a load of crap. If you think you have issues with your colon, see a doctor. Not some little chart to link your hands with internal organs. "Reflexology's claim to manipulate energy has been called pseudoscientific, as there is no scientific evidence for the existence of life energy, 'crystalline structures,' or 'pathways' in the body."
