Why do metal implants come under special care in reflexology?

Its a question i have to answer, it doesnt specify where or what it means exactly by 'metal implants' but im guessing they mean metal plates to hold broken bones together

1. Could it be because when they put the 'hex' on you, passing their hands over and around you, they are creating or modifying some kind of 'field' and metal implants might react differently? If you can believe such a crock...
2. because its a sensative area to go over, and since they are placed over broken bones gp referral is required as it may still be healing and in performing reflexology it may cause the implants to shift.
