Which doctor should I see for back pain? I have been having upper back pain for years now, I went to my PCP but all she did was give me vicodin... That doesnt help and the medicine makes me feel sick... She couldnt see anything from the x-rays so I want to see a specialist but not sure if it should be an orthopedic, chiropractor, pain doctor?? Has anyone experienced this before? Who worked better for you? I have also tried acupuncture... and it didnt work. I live in the southwest houston area Thanks!

Why is it that when talented lives shine bright before the public eye, that talent is cut short because of drink and/or drugs, why do some bright lights of the entertainment world succumb to foods and "comfort substances" which deplete and shorten your life when there are other life enhancing foods, social and medical practices & substances just as easily available such as acupuncture, Water therapy, herbal remedies, religion and so on, when times are tough and life is very stressful. I look at people such as Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson as examples of whose religious beliefs helped pull them through some very tough personal challenges and whose unquestionable talents have brought joy and happiness to people all over the world. I think it is very very sad when such bright talents are lost so early in life, in the way that Heath Ledger has been lost !
