Acupuncture For Infertility Knowledge Base
Has anyone tried acupuncture to help with infertility? I am struggling with infertility and am willing to try anything before going to more extreme messures. I was wondering if anyone has tried acupuncture for infertility and if they could explain the process to me. Such as, how many sessions, any success stories, where they put the neddles, does it hurt, does your doctor need to be consulted? Thanks!
Has anyone tried acupuncture for infertility? Has anyone ever had acupuncture for infertility? I've used it for sinus pain and for muscle tension, but I'm somewhat skeptical for pregnancy. I've been off the pill for 10 months now and still not pregnant. I would like to keep fertility drugs to a last resort.
Anyone used acupuncture for infertility treatments? Hi, I'm thinking of having acupuncture for my back and I wanted to know if any of you have used it for infertility. I'm doing medical treatments for that, but I'm curious about acupuncture. Did it work? What do they do, stick a needle in your ovaries?
Has Anyone had Acupuncture for Infertility? I have had Acupuncture for a severe shoulder problem that required two operations to fix and found that the Acupuncture helped greatly with this. But was wondering if anyone had tried it for Infertility, how did you think it went? how many sessions did you have? what part of the body do they work on? I know it works for pain and movement and swelling as i have proof in my experiances but not sure about using it for Infertility.
Can acupuncture help infertility ? I have PCOS, 27 yrs old and happily married, Been trying to concieve for 5 months now and wondered if acupunture could help me on my quest. My current cycle is up to 72 days long. Thanks
Acupuncture for infertility? My neighbor got pregnant (after she was told it was improbable) after having acupuncture treatments for 3 months. Has anyone else heard of this or had experience with it? I asked my fertility specialist about it, but she was hesitant to encourage anything that wasn't medically related........
Does acupuncture work? Me and my wife are trying to have a baby. Does acupuncture for infertility really work?
Chinese medicine/acupuncture to help infertility? I've been having acupuncture and been taking these herbal tablets the woman prescribed me, called 'Ba Zhen Yi Mu Wan', to treat Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovaries. Anyone had this treatment before? Did it work? (I'm also getting professional medical treatment, but it's not for a couple of months yet and I wanted to try this in the meantime). The only reason I'm having this done is because my partner's Mother is treated by this woman for similar things, and says she's amazing. Also know 2 women who have had good results with her for different things. Before she did Chinese medicine here, she was a Gynaecologist/Gynae surgeon for 21 years in China. Oh and, I have no choice about the medical help.. I have it all booked but it's quite far away... Hence trying to do something about it in the meantime, to hopefully avoid surgery.

Acupuncture to Improve Fertility? Hello! I just saw a great post from someone who mentioned that they did acupuncture with infertility, and they got pregnant. I am just wondering if anyone else has done this, what their experience was, if they had any pregnancies/births, and recommendations (things I should or should not do). We have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years, and I have PCOS. I've had two pregnancies off Clomid, and two miscarriages. Thanks for your advice! If I do get PG off acupuncture, it is important to continue it after I get PG?
has anyone tried acupuncture? I am 25 and me and my husband have been trying for at least 4 years nothing ..went through a bunch of testing every month ,still nothing. our doc says there should be no reason why i can't get pregnant..except for the hormonal imbalance which can be easily fix with meds or herbal supplements..well i decided after a year of treatment to take a break because all the meds he was pumping into me where doing nothing but making me gain weight and making me depressed all the time to the point where my sex drive went plummeting and i could not be around pregnant people without crying after wards or sitting in my house for weeks with out talking..so after doing a bunch of research i decided to try changing our life style eating healthy, exercise(not to much though),and taking herbal supplements which has been working i have been regular for 3 months, and i want to know if anyone has tried acupuncture for infertility? i heard and did research that it has the same chance or better chances then IVF..i want to further my natural ways..or if yo have any other info i might not know about would be great to thank you
Any success with TTC and acupuncture? We're going on 14 months of TTC. I started acupuncture treatments two weeks ago and I'm curious to see if anyone out there has any success stories with acupuncture treatments for infertility? Thanks in advance! I've been going once weekly and the Dr. recommended 10 weeks. The first treatment was $75 and additional are $55 so I'm not sure that I'd actually complete the 10 weeks.

Anybody else out there struggling with secondary infertility? I have been trying for almost 3 years to have my second child. I've tried Clomid and some injectibles, had laparoscopy and bloodwork which is all fine. I'm looking into acupuncture now. Too much money for IVF. Any stories or advice would be appreciated.
Christianity and Acupuncture? Hi there. I am a 26 year old who has been diagnosed with PCOS. I got an ultrasound done and they found 1 very small 2 cm cyst on my right ovary and my other one was fine. I am type 1 diabetic and I started reading that acupuncture is helpful in infertility. My only concern is everything I an reading says acupuncture should not be done if your Christian. I believe in God with all my heart and soul so I am just lost here. I see an acupuncturist who doesn't have budda's or anything in her office so am I ok or should I avoid this? Like I said I believe in our Lord with all my heart, but I would rather look for holistic help before pumping my body full of drugs. Can anyone help me with this? Please no bad mouthing about God this isn't about him. Thanks so much...Wendy
Any suggestions for infertility? My husband and I have been trying for nearly 5 years to have children with no luck. We have both been through numerous tests and have been given no reason for our infertility. We are being referred to in-vitro but are not sure that we are ready for that yet. I am wondering if anyone has advice about natural life-style changes or natural procedures that can be made that may help conception. We do not smoke and we drink very minimally (maybe once a month). I am considering acupuncture also. Any input would be greatly appreciated especially if you have also experienced this difficulty or are close to someone who has.
I have 5 days spotting before period for more than 1 year is this normal? I have experiencing this after my laparascopy operation last may. I had a normal period with 26-30 day cycle before that. I have been trying to conceive like for more than 2 years. After 2 failed IUI, I tried traditional herbalist and acupuncture for 9mths. Is spotting causing infertility? Anyone facing similar problems with me? What should I do? Should I check to dr? .Thanks
Blue Cross insurance coverage for acupuncture? I called my insurance company today (Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield) to see if they cover acupuncture, and they said that they DO (12 treatments per year) but only for certain diagnoses. However, she wouldn't tell me which diagnoses are covered for this, and instead she said I would have to ask about a specific diagnosis then she would tell me yes or no (so basically it had to be a guessing game because I assume they don't want people to find out what is covered then go to to doctor to get that specific diagnosis.) Anyway, does anyone know what diagnoses are considered covered for acupuncture for Blue Cross Blue Shield? She said no already to: infertility, chronic back pain, sinusitis....so what IS covered? So annoying.
Has anybody used a "doula" during delivery?? When I started my infertility treatments, I started seeing an acupuncturist mainly for my depression and stress. I found out that acupuncture helps to treat infertility too. My acupuncturist recommended to start looking into hiring a "doula" for my future pregnancy. A doula is a lady that teaches you how to handle pain with massages and breathing techniques. Has anybody used or heard about this? I am not pregnant yet, but because I have scoliosis(back curvature) my doctor thinks I won't be able to have an epidural, that is why the acupuncturist recommended the doula
IVF acupuncture insurance? I did my first round of IVF and got pregnant. I had acupuncture on the day of the transfer and paid $250.00 for it. Now I have tried to get my money back from my insurance (they cover acupuncture) but received the following note: We do not have sufficient information to determine the clinical appropriateness of the services reported on this claim and are therefore denying the service. You must submit supporting information describing the need for these services, for us to reconsider your claim. Does anyone know what exactly to write,so that they will cover the cost? Isn't infertility enough for them to know? I have pretty good insurance and they paid most of the IVF cost, not sure why they have a problem with $250.00. Yes, it is BCBS PPO.
Acupuncture and trying to conceive, What can you share? I going to a certified acupuncturist soon (hopefully this week) and I am wondering what to expect or what are your thoughts. I am going specifically for fertility benefits. A little background info- Hubby and I have been trying for a baby for 2.5 years now. We are seeing an RE (specialist) and are on a little break as our next step in InVitro Fertilization (IVF) in the spring. We were technically diagnosed with unexplained infertility in March 2008. No real issues with either of us other than the fact it is not happening. We have tried a lot of things up until this time. Everything from trying not to try to charting to ovulation prediction kits to Clomid to ovulation induction through daily injections of Gonal F, etc. So we thought acupuncture is worth a shot during our downtime. Our RE really recommends it to all his patients and especially those faced with IVF. Thanks for any insight you can provide. (I am just waiting on the receptionist at the office to call me back with my appointment.)

What tests should I have or did you have for infertility? Hubby and I have been ttc for 31 months. We are seeing an RE and in March 2008 we were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. I present with no uterine, ovarian, tubal or hormonal issues and hubby has passed 2 semen analysis with flying colors. We are on a break right now (other than doing acupuncture) as we were told IVF would be our doctors next recommendation since we have had 3 failed Clomid cycles and 3 failed Gonal F cycles (good response to the Gonal F though). We pay out of pocket and he feels since these cycles have failed IVF would be the most logical and give us the best chance for our money so to speak. My question is should I ask for any additional testing since we are unexplained infertility or is that just all that can be determined? What tests were you givin in general to detect issues with fertility? Thanks for any help or information. Best wishes to those ttc! About 10% of couples with fertility issues are diagnosed as unexplained. My doctor says this means that ideally the basics are there and working for conception to happen but it just isn't. I have only had one chemical pregnancy after a Clomid cycle. That is a very common thing to have happen after Clomid use. So I am not having repeated miscarriages or anything like that. Just not getting pregnant! Thanks for the answers! Interesting suggestion but can you actually be allergic to sperm? What tests are available to check for sperm to egg compatability? My doctor has never mentioned this. Does anyone know more about it? I have had the HSG and everything was good. I have had several bloodtests. I can't remember all of them but the ones I remember were FSH, LH, Estroidel, Progesterone, TSH. I have had ultrasounds and pap smear as well. I have passed all of these and no issues were detected. That is why I was curious if other tests may be beneficial or if I had the standard ones covered. Thanks for all of the great answers!
Can a tarot card reader really help me with my infertility? We have been trying to get pregnant for years. We have tried everything. We have tried several different types of fertility meds and recently did In-Vitro fertilization. Nothing seems to work. We have done acupuncture as well. We conceived naturally twice years ago and miscarried, but we were not planning to have a family that young, so we thought we has time. I had my tarot cards read and the woman who read them asked me why I am worried about my fertility. I never told her anything about myself or my concerns. She then told me that their was a soul that was waiting to come into my family. She said that the soul was waiting for the right timing and with the magician card crossing a child card that it shows that nothing is impossible. She told me a spell to do that will help us. She said the soul was waiting on the next full moon. My husband thinks this is nuts and although I feel a little weird doing it, I am willing to try anything. I have prayed and prayed to god, I believe what this woman said because even as I left her office, I still had never told her my reasons for coming in there. I left with a spell that I never asked her for. Is doing this going to far? My husband thinks so. He is waiting for a response from people here with me. What do you think? Would you try it?

What was your process like .... Help me plan? Okay ladies.. tell me what your infertility process was like. Did you use any medications, if so what ? What test did you do, blood work, ultra sounds, etc? Here is why I ask. I have been TTC for over a year, my blood work all looks great, husbands sperm count is great. I have acupuncture once a week by a infertility specialist. I eat good, took a step down at work to minimize stress. So far there is no medical reason to my wait. My health Ins does NOT cover anything, so I need some knowledge as to what test i can ask for and or expect. What Meds (clomid) can I talk to my Dr about? I need to maximize my time and money. I am going a specialist at 250 bucks a visit. This can add up quick, please give me some advise. and yes, I am ovulating every month.

Bilateral Sacroiliitis-My Story-Please help? I’m a 29yr old female and diagnosed with bilateral sacroiliitis... The pain is constant and unmanageable for me. I have been continuously to a chiropractor, physiotherapist who practises acupuncture. I have also been to an osteopath. I have been on anti inflammatories and pain killers for months. I don’t sleep for more than an hour at a time, because as soon as I move the pain is enough to wake me. I use heat creams, heat packs, warm baths, ice packs, sleeping with pillows between my knees, I don’t sit for long periods, no lifting, minimal bending, I had a week of rest off work, but to not much relief. I bent over and emptied the dishwasher and almost immediately pain returned. I had some relief from the acupuncture as it releases the tense muscles I have in my lower back, buttocks and thighs, but the pain returns or the acupuncture is 'undone' with 24 hours or so... I am the process of trying to get an appointment to have CT guided cortisone injection, which I am not that keen on, (I have heard stories about infertility, its lack of effectiveness, weight gain... INFO ANYONE???) I may have to wait 3 months, but I don’t know where to turn. I’m too young for this and it is affecting my entire life. I’ve become a burden/bother to my family, boyfriend, lost friends because after I struggle through a day at work I cannot manage to socialise without extreme determination and self convincing that I can which is exhausting in itself. I can’t manage to spend a few hours walking around a shopping centre or sit down in the movie theatre comfortably. Play with my puppy, do my housework etc. I cannot perform my job properly (I manage a liquor store, a lot of heavy lifting, moving, bending, kneeling which lead to my sacroiliitis). I seem to be rambling. It is so hard to get anybody to understand the pain I’m in 99% of the time; I have very little time without it... I am wondering if anybody out there has found anything to relieve their pain and discomfort. Even the tiniest 'tricks' they use for relief. Or what treatment has worked the best? I really would like to discuss this further and hear other experiences. My true hope is that I can get back to full living/working/functioning capacity, and get back to being the fit and happy fun loving person I was 6 months ago. I’m sorry for rattling on, but I have needed to let this all out (I feel better just doing so!) Thanks Brie, Australia Thanks for listening/reading... Hope to hear from someone....
is this copied? CHINESE HERBS- NATURE’S BLESSINGS FOR AILING SOULS Among the family of herbal Medicines the treatment that has inspired the human souls and has intricately woven into the social fabric of many generations globally are nonetheless Chinese Medicinal herbs. These herbs have not only benefited the ailing human beings but also have been the source of Information and studies for the people of scientific world of today. These Chinese Medicinal herbs found its birth last 3000 years back among the Zhou Dynasty. The recurrent troubles prevailing in the socio economic condition of the people led to their belief that sickness was due to the malevolent action of demonic forces. Incipient herbal medicine was employed to extirpate these unwanted intruders laying foundation of today’s Chinese healing herbs. According to Chinese legend, Chinese father of agriculture and leader of an ancient clan, Shen Nung, tested one by one hundreds of different plants to discover their nutritional and medicinal properties and then on this tradition continued. CHINESE HERBS There are over 3000 different Chinese healing herbs that can be used for medical purposes. Only 300 to 500 of these herbs are commonly used. BENEFITS OF CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINES Chinese healing herbs performs three main functions: •To treat the immediate problem, such as killing bacteria or a virus, •To strengthen the body, helping it to recover, and •To maintain health. DISEASES CHINESE HERBS CURE Chinese healing herbs are commonly used to treat disorders such as: •Digestive problems •Eczema and psoriasis •Fatigue •Gynaecological disorders •Hepatic (liver) disorders •Cardiovascular disorders •Stress There are different herbs for different types of diseases like: •Diabetes Chinese herbs •Chinese herbs for scabies •Chinese herbs for endometrosis As Diabetes has been most common ailment so there are different herbs for Diabetes patients like Diabetic neuropathy among others. Specially for Gynecological disorders there are Chinese herbs for fertility and Chinese herbs for infertility CATEGORIZATION OF MEDICINAL HERBS Chinese Medicinal herbs are categorized in following ways: •Property: Every herb is said to have the property of being either cool, cold, warm, or hot. Cool and cold herbs treat “hot” symptoms, such as fever, thirst, sore throat or constipation. Warm and hot herbs treat “cold” symptoms, such as cold hands and feet. •Flavor: There are seven flavors of herbs; pungent, sweet, sour, astringent, bitter, salty, and neutral. •Channels: Channels (or meridians) run throughout the body, affecting different organs. Each kind of herb affects a particular channel and organ. •Actions: Herbs perform different actions in the body. These are known as lifting, floating, lowering, and sinking. MECHANISM OF CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE IN BODY Chinese treatment is a part of larger healing system called as “Traditional Chinese Medicine” (TCM), which includes among others acupuncture, massage dietary advice and exercise. For maintaining good health we must strive to attain a harmonious balanced relationship between the different systems inside our body, and between nature and our body and when this balance is disturbed we suffer from various diseases. These traditional Chinese Medicine balances our body system with the help of the prescribed Chinese healing herbs. The principle theory includes Yin and Yang, Qi, Blood and Body Fluid theory and Channels and Collaterals theory. YIN AND YANG The ancient Chinese proposed that all living things are sustained by balance of two opposing forces of energy, called Yin and Yang. Together, they make up the life essence, or Qi - a type of energy that flows through the body via invisible channels called meridians. Half of organs and meridians are governed by Yin and the other half are governed by Yang. When Yin and Yang are out of balance in the body, this causes a blockage of Qi and a subsequent illness. Yin and Yang imbalances can be caused by stress, pollution, poor diet, emotional upsets or infection. For diagnostic purposes, Yin and Yang are further subdivided into interior and exterior, hot and cold, deficiency and excess. PHILOSOPHY BEHIND CHINESE HERBAL TREATMENT This treatment depends on the philosophy that we live between heaven and earth and we are miniature universe in ourselves and we have five organs like •Heart" or "mind" (hsin); •2."lungs" or "respiratory system" (fei); •3."liver" (kan); •4."spleen" (p'i); •5."kidneys" (shen) These are called as Latent Phenomena Exessive Wind (feng), cold (han), heat (shu), moisture (shih), dryness (tsao), and internal heat (huo "fire") harms the body, and are referred to as the "six external disease-causing factors" (liu yin). On the other hand, if mood changes within the individual, such as happiness(hsi), anger(nu), worry(yu), pensiveness(szu), grief(pei), fear(k'ung), and surprise(ching) are too extreme, they will also harm the health. These emotions are called the "seven emotions"(ch'i ch'ing). In Chinese Herbal treatment, the six external disease-causing factors, interacting with the seven emotions, form the theoretical foundation of disease pathology. These theoretical models, coupled with the "theory of latent phenomena," are used to analyze the patient's constitution and his illness, and diagnose the exact nature of his overall physical and psychological loss of balance. Based on this analysis, the doctor prescribes method to correct the imbalance. HOW THE HERBAL MEDICINES ARE PRESCRIBED The TCM philosophy proposes that everything including organs of the body - is composed of the five elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood. The herbs are similarly classified into the five tastes - sweet, salty, bitter, pungent and sour - which correspond to the five elements, for example, since the skin is a metal element Yang organ, it would be treated with a pungent herb Each herbal medicine prescription is a mixture of many herbs tailored to the individual patient. One batch of herbs is typically decocted twice over the course of one hour. The practitioner usually designs a remedy using one or two main ingredients that target the illness. Then the practitioner adds many other ingredients to adjust the formula to the patient's Yin Yang conditions. Sometimes, ingredients are needed to cancel out side effects of the main ingredients. Some herbs require the use of other ingredients as catalyst or else the brew remains ineffective. HOW THE PROBLEM IS DIAGNOSED Diagnosis is by visual assessment, listening and smelling, questioning, and palpation; a single biomedical disease may be associated with a large number of TCM diagnoses, while one TCM diagnosis may encompass a number of biomedical diseases. Once a diagnosis is established, therapy aims at restoring the body's homeostasis by treating the root cause of the disease. CHINESE HEALING HERBS Chinese healing herbs are mainly plant based, but some preparations include minerals or animal products. They can be packaged as powders, pastes, lotions or tablets, depending on the herb and its intended use. Different herbs have different properties and can balance particular parts of the body. Prescribing a particular herb or concoction of herbs means the practitioner’s diagnosis has to take into account the state of the patient’s Yin and Yang, and the elements that are governing the affected organs. SCIENCE VS HERBAL MEDICINE Dr. David Nye pointed out some interesting facts in discussing scientific vs. Chinese Herbal Medicine. He said that scientific medicine is a body of knowledge about the human body, its maladies, and their treatment acquired by the application of scientific methods of study. These methods were developed for science in general and medicine in particular. For Alternate Medicine like Chinese Herbal Medicine, he explains alternative medicine as a name has been given to several schools of folk (non-scientific) medicine whose treatments are typically derived from tradition rather than from scientific study. Ideas often come from a single founder and are then passed along generation next with little change as in the case of chiropractic or homeopathy. New form of treatments may be added but the core theories are not challenged. Alternative medical treatments are often promoted through the use of anecdotal evidence and testimonials. STEPS TO CONSIDER BEFORE GOING FOR CHINESE HERBAL TREATMENT Chinese healing Herbs can act on the body as powerfully as pharmaceutical drugs and should be treated with the same caution and respect. Some herbs can be toxic in high doses; others can cause allergic reactions, many can also suffer from liver dysfunction. Make sure your practitioner is fully qualified. Never abandon your regular medication or alter the dose without the knowledge and approval of your Doctor. Because of the variety of herbs used in Chinese herbal medicine, there is a potential for negative interactions with prescribed drugs. Some herbal preparations contain other ingredients which are not always identified. The FDA has issued a statement warning diabetics to avoid several specific brands of Chinese herbal products because they illegally contain the prescription diabetes drugs glyburide and phenformin. FDA warnings have been issued for PC-SPES and production of that product stopped because the Chinese herbal products also contained prescription drugs (indomethicin, diethylstilbestrol and warfarin). China had no doubt remained one of the leading Civilizations since centuries in arts, social, culture, Economy but the gift of unique herbs that it gave to human beings is cherished, was cherished and will always be cherished by generations ahead. Though modern medicines has took its roots among the people but Chinese Medicinal Herbs has undoubtedly taken its own place into the hearts of millions due to its magical powers of healing. These are the points that I have covered in the Write-up •How does Chinese medicine differ from the scientific herbs? •How do Chinese herbs work? (can describe it in steps) oassesses the balance between yin and yang aspects of body functions ocorrespondence of the ailment to the five phase elemental system of living energy oetc •Health benefits of Chinese herbs •Are several herbs combined in Chinese herbal formula? (explain in brief) •Dangers in using Chinese herbs (e.g. affect liver function) Diagnostic examination before administering Chinese herbs (e.g. visual exam, listening and smelling etc)
Did the Clearblue Fertility Monitor work for you if you've been TTC 1+ year? We've been TTC for over a year, and after really expensive acupuncture treatments (that drained our savings!) I've been thinking of buying the Clearblue Fertility Monitor. I've tried the OPK strips, they're as clear as mud, and my BBT isn't reliable since my waking time differs every day. I've read lots of reviews that say "it worked on the 1st try!" but no one really says how long they've been TTC. So... if you have been TTC for over a year, did it work for you? Thank you! (Related note: my OBGYN is a jerk, and my insurance doesn't cover infertility, so I'm on my own.)
I just wanted to share some advice...TTC for a long time and finally got my BFP, here's what I did...? Hi all I wanted to share some of the tips I used this month to fall pregnant. 1 - Listen to self hypno cd's, to relax yourself. You can get TTC ones. 2 - Take robitussin cough medicine a week before you are due to ovulate and up until you ovulate. Your cervical mucus may be too thick, I really think this helped me because my infertility was unexplained. This gave me LOADS of ewcm. I had a terrible chest infection so I was taking a lot of this! 3 - If you can afford it, try acupuncture, I was having it every 2 weeks for about 2 months. 4 - Stay somewhere else, we stayed away by the sea the wkend we got pregnant, sometimes it does you good to be away from home in an exciting new place! 5 - If you have been trying over a year, try to get refered for a laparoscopy, I had one last month and fell right away. I think it cleared my tubes and gave me a spring clean. Anyway, good luck everyone, I know how hard it is, I really do. Keep wishing on that star, I know I did. x x x I have been TTC 13 months, am 25, very healthy, totally regular, my partner is 25, sperm count fine. Just took us 13 months for some reason xxx GOOD LUCK
im 24 years old, what are my chances that IVF will work the first time? like i said im 24, dealing with male factor infertility, getting ready to start my first IVF cycle, using donor sperm and ICSI. ive had an HSG test that came back all clear and have always had regular periods. i do ovulate, so pretty much im the picture of health...im back and forth weather or not i want to push for a laparscopy (spelling? sorry) to actually go in and look at my uterus and stuff, im paranoid it wont work and itll be because they missed something on the HSG test??!! insurance will pay for a lap but not an IVF or any meds...i just dont wanta listen to the RE and have him be wrong. but he says i dont need it... so i guess my questions are: 1.) do you think this will work the first time? 2.) should i insist on the lap? and 3.) what have been your personal experiences? thank you any input would be great, i go for my first acupuncture appointment today! maybe it can curb my crazy paranoid, control freak tendencies! KMFX =)
Acupuncture and infertility? Has anyone tried this to conceive? Being a westerner, I'm skeptical about Eastern medicine, but at this point willing to give it a try. Thanks!

I need some input about my Thesis? My Thesis Acupuncture should be recognized as a viable healthcare option because acupuncture has been known to help with infertility, various illnesses, and certain pains. My Instructor said this about my information she has read so far, I think I'm going off track somehow. Can anyone help me please Instructor Response: You are on the right track with this topic, but you need to not worry so much about explaining the properties of acupuncture so much as to define your stance that acupuncture should be considered a medical option that health insurances should carry, especially if this practice will help the patient's illness.
