what points on the foot stimulate growth? I don't really understand foot reflexology, but some people I've asked say that Dr. Yang answers this in the Understanding Qigong DVDs (which I haven't seen). Can someone please explain?

Swollen foot due to pregnancy or something else? Weeks ago a knot appeared on my arch of my foot that really hurt. Went to the chiropractor because I figured my balance was changing. He worked on me and said put ice on it. Went to the massage therapist. She worked on my feet a little but said she couldn't do more because of some foot reflexology pressure points doing harm to pregnancy. Now I am 6 months pregnant and vacationing in Hawaii where the weather is warm. My knot is still there and my foot has really swollen up and it is painful to walk. I've had ice on it and have had it elevated for long hours at a time. Is this pregnancy related--just ONE foot? Or do you think my balance is just way off? It feels like my tendons are very swollen. I think I will see a doctor when I get back but I don't know what he could do for me. Any advice? Thanks.
Indigestion, sore foot & reflexology? Hi, I suffer from indigestion every now and then (bit too regular for my liking!) but this has lasted past 2 days and shows no sign of stopping! I have a really sore upper back with a lot of tingling, had chest pain which is now mostly gone, burping, a sense of fullness, nausea, headache, strange feelings/rumblings in my digestive area and a sore left foot (weird to include right?). Regarding my foot, this has happened before where my foot (left, the same both times) really aches to the point that I have to limp because it hurts to walk on it. Just to give you an idea where on my foot, according to reflexology (source being my mum and http://www.dorlingkindersley-uk.co.uk/static/cs/uk/11/features/reflexology/footchart.html) it is in my heart, solar plexis & diaphragm area on the foot (just hover over the words and the pic will light up the area) Any ideas? I'm sure it's indigestion but it's weird my foot hurts when I've had it, twice now. Is it associated?
Health concern containging sharp pain in chest and someone with knowledge of Reflexology and Iridology..? Ok first off I want to tell you that I am going to school for Massage Therapy so I been learning a lot about the body.. I did some research on myself because I was a premature baby by 4 months. I already suffer from a little bit of a speech problem because of it. It came out that if a baby is very early, later as a adult they might have heart problems or lung problems... Off and on I have this sharp pain in my chest. By the heart area. Its either when I get up from laying on the floor or when I work out. I feel like I am not getting enough oxygen. Sometimes when I am just relaxed I have to take a deep breath for no reason. What gets my concern a little is that I have no been to the doctor in 3 years because I have no health insurance. In one of my classes we learned Reflexology. The points in my feet showed some things with my stomach and my lungs. In class the other day we did Iridology which is on the eyes and a black stop came up on my lung area on that. Should I be concern
Reflexology and Mind over Body? So last night my feet were killing me. I was on them about 16 hours, and when I came home the, arches in the bottom of my feet were throbbing. So I thought about the Reflexology charts that name each point on the hands and feet and used it to relieve the pain not only in my feet, but also my neck, back and ribs/chest. The problem is, I have no training whatsoever and I can't tell if the charts relieved my pain or if my faith in the charts relieved my pain. What do you think? Is this a simple case of mind over body?
Adrenal gland treatment through massage? Is anyone aware of massage techniques and pressure points that through hand foot reflexology AND body massage techniques that can help to stimulate an irregular Adrenal gland problem. I feel it is a simple enough idea to stimulate the specific pressure points that the adrenal and other interactive glands are connected to through massage. I cant see where this idea could do anything except help. It will certainly relax the subject physically and mentally at the very least. Any help and advice would be appreciated, I would also use a chakra massage for alignment, fragrances and meditative music as well. I am looking forward to doing a great treatment on a friend and wold like to have some advice.
Reflexology Charts - downloadable? I am after a couple of reflexology charts that I can download for a project I am doing. I need one for hands and one for feet. You know the ones that have them hands/feet shown with sections and then a little description pointing to each section. Can anyone help me please? Jay H - brilliant, but I cannot see one for the hands
somebody help.........................!....................!!.........................!!!? hi, basically i have pain in my foot. bothe of them. it sounds simple but its really bad the pain is all around my whole foot in ceratin spots .....which make up almost every spot e.g. the tips of every toe the heel the sides middle and many more points. the pain is soooooooooooooo a g o n i s i n g - i cant bare it if i accidently step on something pointy or hard the pain makes me scream and lasts for a minute ..........and then this triggers the whole pain on all points on both feet for another hour or so. the pain is like sometimesprickly or the kind osf pain that is itchy so you scratch it but then that only causes more pain...it also feels like blood vessel is popping or heat is being released. sometimes. every night in bed heat from the quilt triggers the pain. most of the time my feet just pain by itself and i have tackle the pain on ach point by pressing or lightly itching - its like playing the game where you have to hit the lights before the other light appears. so anyways if someone knows anything about reflexology it would also help i think this might be a blood problem. it seems like such a bizzare illness but at the same time i fear it may be very serious.

Can you treat a bladder infection naturally? Two & half weeks ago I was given antibiotics from the doctor for a water infection. I took them for a week and felt much better. Last Friday I went to reflexology and she massaged the bladder "points" on my feet. My left foot felt fine but right one was very slightly tender - not sore, but I could "feel" it. Since then I have had lower back ache, an ache on & off in my right groin and a feeling of fullness in my bladder after having a drink. I know if I phone the doctor he'll just give me a prescription for more antibiotics which I don't really want - hate taking them and always get side effects! Am also allergic to penicillin so am limited to what can take. Have been drinking lots of water & cranberry juice too. First thing in morning its fine, after ive drank its fine, then by about 9/10am my stomach/back/groin hurts & i have to go to loo. Then relief again - then its not so bad throughout the day even though I drink constantly ( a glass of water every hour or so.) Anyone any ideas as to what could take/do before resorting to doctors again??
